Papi K In Cleveland Amongst Other Shows in Ohio Cancelled Due To Coronapocalypse.

Papi K amongst many other independent artists are feeling impacted as shows cancel across the state.

As show season and St. Patrick’s Day peak around the corner, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine placed a ban Thursday, on any venue/event planning to host more than 100 people due to the Coronavirus Pandemic in the U.S. For independent artists and freelancers like Papi K and Nasty V it means the beginning of show season has been suspended.

Gov. DeWine’s announcement was read Thursday afternoon, “Mass gatherings are prohibited in the state of Ohio. This includes any event that brings together 100+ people in the same room, [as] an attempt to make sure that everyone understands that we cannot be close proximity to each other.”

Papi K‘s Pipeline 614 X 216 performance in Cleveland, hosted by Sam Rothstein at Grog Shop this Sunday has been cancelled. Unfortunately nearly all popular nightclubs/bars, festivals, concerts and events have made the choice to close doors during this time. This includes St. Patrick’s Day parades and bar crawls.

Ohio’s ban is only temporary and concerts to come are still on, including Papi K’s Rager Fest in Springfield this June. Check back here for regular updates on the shows you were excited for.
