Inspired by Beyonce’s iconic Coachella set with undeniable range, depth and power, Black Fashion Expo makes a return to Ohio on Sunday, Feb. 23 from 1-6 PM for the event titled, Home-Com-Ing. Yes, drinks will be available.
Fashion Is Columbus is set on making this experience one to remember by honoring black culture during Black History Month and the strides made in society, though more change is necessary. This event applauds young entrepreneurs creating avenues for them to thrive in.
Bobby Couch of Fashion Is Columbus said, “We’ve come a long way, yes. But more change is needed and this event will showcase decades of slavery.”
There’s no better way to spend #SundayFunday than an afternoon outing to enjoy some of the best designs, drinks and entertainment found in the heart of the city- FOR FREE! BFE will have live canvas painting and include acoustic sets for musical entertainment.
The mission is to create a huge platform for black fashion and to establish Ohio as one of the most fashion forward states in America.

We get it, you want to know who’s showing up first.
Included in the streetwear highlight will be TRPR, MOUF and Starstrukt along with Q and A’s. Designers for the showcase are based in Columbus, Ohio threading some of the most influential wears in urban culture.
In attendance and speaking will be 614 Magazine, Thread Talk podcast, published makeup artist @Grenade_Mar, hairstylist @HairArtJonez, and fashion designer @Designer.Kenneshanycole, along with many other brands and models representing their creations.
Guest speakers will talk about their journey’s as creatives, DIY tricks and tips, fashion history and so much more.
